June 2021 Meeting

By | May 27, 2021

On June 8th, our regular monthly meeting will feature Dino Papas, KLØS, a frequent QST and On The Air author and contributor. Dino has been a ham for over 51 years. He holds a BSEE degree from the University of California at Davis and a Masters of Engineering Management degree from The George Washington University, although for 26 years he served on active duty as an infantryman with ham radio, shortwave listening, computers and electronics as his top hobbies.  He and his wife Toby KLØSS, also a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and President of the Williamsburg Area Amateur Radio Club, are both ARRL Life and Maxim Society Members and reside in Williamsburg, VA.

Dino’s presentation “A Ham’s Silent Key Guide” is intended to answer the question “if you suddenly, and unexpectedly became a Silent Key, would your loved ones know how to take care of your ham estate items in the most appropriate manner?” The bottom line is that you should plan ahead now for inevitably becoming a Silent Key, you owe it to yourself and your family.  Lets discuss how we can best go about this important task.

The meeting will start officially at 6:30pm with the presentation to begin at 7:00pm via Zoom. See you there!
