The Results for the recent Vote on WWDXC Monthly Meeting Location have been tabulated, and all voters checked against the list of Active Members.
 
To the question:
 
"Shall the WWDXC have membership meetings ONLY at the Lake City location starting MAY 2007?"
 
35 votes were cast by club members - 25 'YES' votes, 10 'NO' votes
 
There are 175 active members at this time - 20% of our membership voted.

What this means is that the May meeting will be held at the Lake City Elks Club.

However,  this issue has compelled the board to renew its search for an additional meeting location from Seattle southward. The scope of the renewed search may be expanded to include facilities that would be conducive to our meetings, yet may not serve food (e.g. YMCA or Library Meeting rooms).

If we find a suitable location, we'll try a meeting there to see how we like it. Until then, we'll continue to meet at the Elks Club in Lake City.
