2007 Washington State Salmon Run Reserve a County

COUNTY EXPEDITION (WASHINGTON STATE):

N7PP (South Hill Contest Club) will be operating  6-80 mtrs SSB, CW....Multi/2 with KW's and SteppIR (2 ele yagi @50 ft and vertical ground mounted) antennas and two wire antennas. Ops will be K7MO Nick, K7LAZ Harry, W7AML Alan, KE7FKX (YL) Linda, AC7FA Don, Carol XYL of LAZ. Operation will be from ASO (Asotin County) 5,000 feet at WoHe Lo Lodge in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Washington.

"This year KI7JG will be operating  low band 40 through 160 meters out of Lewis County.  Bruce Schauss KB7TIV and John Willott will be in Bruce’s RV and will set up our NVIS antenna which will favor reception within the state and to those using horizontal wire antennas.  We also have a beautiful Tarheel  400 160 meter through 10 meter screwdriver antenna mounted on the roof.  This antenna favors out of state contacts.  You will most likely find us in the phone band of the lowest band that has propagation at that time.  Way late night we will see who is around on 160 meters."

Six Meter activity may be by W7AML also before and after contest.(If we can top Puffer Butte and on battery power)
