sponsored by the Clark County Amateur Radio Club W7AIA
for information, go to: WA-WAC
NEW- WACYA Award for operating FROM all 39 Washington Counties! Some information links:
N1MM Multiplier Files: New for your N1MM logging program Salmonw.mlt (for Washington Stations) and Salmon.mlt (for non-Washington Stations). They match the current Canadian multiplier rule. Operating Aids: SuperDuper by EI5DI - Jeff N7VPN created multiplier files for this program. Download them here as a zipped file. (updated 08/29/2007). "Salmon" is for non-WA stations and "Salmonw" for WA stations. Thanks, Jeff! Working County Line Stations Jeff N7VPN points out that logging a station on a county line can cause the program to report "Dupe!" Here is his solution: "When I log a mobile from KING county I append a /kng to the call sign in the callsign field, then when he moves to PIERCE county I append a /pie after the call. It is not pretty but it works. This way the mults are counted correctly without being listed as dupes. As an added benefit, when I type the mobile's call into the callsign field the program lists all previous counties he was in." This works with SuperDuper and may work with other programs - check it out before starting the contest! |
