Always a fun party. Worked some new counties, but had fewer Qs. Thanks, guys!

VA3IX

Always Fun!

N0QE

As always, I really enjoyed “catching the fish” from Washington!

K6CSL

Boy you sure had a lot of stations in your most populous counties. I did work 3 new counties. Good show.

KC6MZY

Could only get out for a few hours on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully, things will work out better next year. We enjoyed the spot, along the Columbia River, where we operated mobile.

K6RB

CU in the Calif. QSO Party Oct. 1 & 2

VE5EEE

Every contact was tough and band was noisy but always a pleasureable contest. See you next year. Band conditions will be better.

K4UK

From Christmas Tree Island

NE4S

Fun contest, thanks.

VE3TW

Great fun, as always! Thanks to all!

K3ALS

Had a great time – I worked all I could hear.

N7BV

Had a lot of fun. Close to doubling last years score.

KI4EGT

Have had a lot of fun also this year, even if the propagation was not so good.

N7VPN

Hi Salmon Run people. Thanks for sponsoring the Washingotn State Salmon Run. I know it takes a lot of work and dedicaiton to put on a State QSO party. I am sending my log and summary sheet for Franklin County. This was the most fun that I have had in the many years that I have participated in the Salmon Run. I put as much effort into making contacts with the time I had available as I was able to. Usually, I operate much more casual. I was able to make more QSOs than I have ever made in a single weekend, including the big contests. I will be looking forward to next years Salmon Run, I always enjoy the “slug fest” on 75 meters in the evening. Thanks again.

AD7BF

I did not know of, and did not intend to participate in, this contest when I answered the call of station W6AFA who I heard c
alling “CQ Washington State” while I was operating portable at Soap Lake, WA on 17 September. Immediately after we had made our contact I realized he was contesting. Realizing also that there are not that many hams in Grant county, I wanted to help out a fellow ham by making sure he got his points for our contact. Hence, I am sending this entry. Obviously, I am not interested in points myself buy have done my best to fill out the obligatory summary sheet, the instructions for which I found quite confusing, along with submitting my log entry for this contact. Hopefully this is sufficient. Thank you and 73.

WN7T/m

I hit two elk on SR6 at 10:30pm on 9/17/05. My Chevy Tahoe was destroyed. I was not hurt. Both elk were killed. I was about a mile form the Lewis/Pacific county line at time of elk-car impact!

N8II

I started out trying to take the SAC CW seriously, but condx were a complete bust after 16Z, so I succummed to some casual test Q’s with WA. Condx on 20 and 15 were quite good to WA despite the disturbed condx over the pole. It was fun, the time I put in and hope I helped a few with the WV mult. I didn’t hear any activity early on 40M up to about 0130Z.

N8NM

I wish I’d have been able to put in more time; there was lots of activity and I had a ball during the couple of hours I was able to play. I look forward to being able to put in a better effort next year!

N0WY

Made contact with all I heard. Band condx not great.

WA7JT

Most excellent contest. Enclosed are my logs and summary sheet. This is the first contest I have ever entered.

Nice test run for my new beam (TA-33SR). Sure beats the wires.

It was much fun using the FISTS Club call in this years Salmon Run. I am not used to have a number of callers calling at the same time. A35RK called me on both 15 and 20 meters for my only DX and It took me a few moments to realize it was an A35 and not an AB5… I am Impressed at the number of GREAT operators who can copy these calls even when they are sent at a fast speed reply immediately and then keep track. Thanks once again for a very enjoyable contest and all your work.

See you guys on CQP

Station was set up on Christmas Tree Island in the middle of Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County Virginia – US Island VA029L. Rig: K2 – 13 watts, Ant: 20 meter dipole. If washington State amateurs want a special QSL send to AB4YZ. Probably be last amateur radio operation on VA029L because island has been purchased by someone with a spare 2 million dollars. He plans to build a house on the island.

Tnx a million to each and every one of you – especially those who spent the time and money to make the big effort of putting on one or more counties! YOU ARE GREAT!
