WWDXC Club Meeting 4/27/2009
Minutes from March
meeting were approved.
Correspondence:
Annual
notice from Contest Branch received to sponsor ARRL DX club plaques --
board voted to continue to sponsor two plaques.
W7PHO memorial scholarship was received by KG6JDH for
2009.
Treasurer's Report:
The Treasurer's
report was accepted by the board
New Members:

The club is going to
try to accept credit cards and PayPal via the website.
Old
Business:
Survey - a survey is going to be developed
to understand the evolving needs/desires for a club meeting location and
meeting amenities
QSL Cards - The club will update
QSL card rates:
The new rate will be actual cost of the cards + $20 shipping and
tax, $30 club subsidy for first-time QSL orders
Field Day - no coordinator for Field Day has stepped forward;
unclear if the club will do this event this year.

Events
Picnic - Picnic will be held at W7VV's house
August 22.

May
program - Bill Waters - W7GKF - is going to present on a recent trip to
New Zealand and Tahiti
