WWDXC BOARD MEETING
February 22nd 2010 7pm Group Health Hospital
Adam K7EDX opened the meeting at 7:01pm. Present were Denny W7SNH, Marina
N7LSL, Paul NG7Z, Dick K7BTW, Joe W7QN, Pat W7GTO, Elsie N7YX
. Review/approve minutes
The January minutes were approved by a voice vote
. Correspondence
A $100 donation to the YI9PSE DXpedition was approved after a request from
William Beyer N2WB. Northern Iraq (Kurdistan) is #27 on the 2009 list and is
eligible for that sum.
Harry K7LAZ confirmed that our club logo and web link are on the E4X
website.
Adam sent out a few e-mails to club members we hadn't seen in a while.

. Treasurer's report
The 2010 budget and January report were approved
. Membership
Jim reported that 33 renewal notices were sent out and 14 renewals were
received. Total paid membership stands at 132. Jim also thanked Paul and
Adam for their help in wrapping up the Salmon Run award certificates. Paul
presented certificates and salmon boxes to W7FLY (KN7T), KX7L and W7QC. The
balance of awards will be given at the March dinner. There was a discussion
of future Salmon Run log submission requirements. Issue will be tabled for
consideration by the SR committee at a future date.
. Old business
Discussed disposal of K6QB (SK) ham radio equipment. Board voted to not take
equipment to the Mike and Key Swapmeet. The inventory of stuff will be
presented to the membership and offered for sale at a future date.
. New Business
A short discussion of Field Day resulted in the decision to ask the members
if someone will offer to lead. Adam will pose the question at the March
dinner.
Adam once again pointed out the need for more input for the Tabloid.
. Special events status
Since the Board voted to retain the K6QB inventory, the tables that were
reserved for the Mike and Key hamfest in March may not be necessary. But we
will probably have at least one, I think. Jim has asked for pictures of ham
related activities for a slide show at the club table. Denny and Paul have
sent him some.
. Monthly dinner/meeting program for March
Dan Quigley N7HQ will present a program on SDR. The April program is
tentatively set for Ben McLeod to present a program on the 787 flight
controls.
