WWDXC BOARD MEETING
January 31st 2011 7pm Group Health Hospital
Adam K7EDX opened the meeting at 7:00 PST. Present were Dennis K7DSE, Dick
K7BTW, Denny W7SNH, Paul NG7Z, Marina N7LSL, Jim K7WA, Kurt N7UK
.     Review/approve minutes
The November minutes were approved by a voice vote
.	Correspondence
Brian N9ADG has renewed the WWDXC hosting service The club was recognized
with a certificate from the ARRL for a donation to the Spectrum Defense Fund
.	Treasurer's report
The November/December Treasurer's report was reviewed and approved.
.       Membership
One new member Grant KZ1W
The club has 133 paid up members. Jim has mailed a number of renewal
reminders to several members
.	Old business
Salmon Run certificates are nearly finished. Physical certs and salmon boxes
WILL be mailed by February 28th Herb has successfully implemented a PL tone
to prevent unwanted transmissions from triggering the repeater. Moving it to
another location such as Mapleleaf is still being researched.
There are still two directors positions open.
.	New Business
The Board discussed the 2011 budget. The budget was modified to delete the
Summer Picnic line item of $400. The funds were then assigned to $200 for
Field Day and $200 for DXpeditions. The budget was approved. Paul mentioned
that he would be willing to host a Field Day at his QTH.
.	Special events status
The club has reserved an info table at the Mike and Key Hamfest Planning for
the DX convention in August is well underway
.	Monthly dinner/meeting
Frank K7GSE will present Part 2 of "Keys" at the February meeting Jim K7EG
will make a presentation of the Reverse Beacon Network (RBN) in March
