New Business

The WWDXC table at the Mike & Key sponsored
Puyallup Hamfest was a success.  This
year’s Hamfest had an excellent turn-out, participation was up, and all the
tables were occupied.  At the Club table,
volunteers received a very positive reaction from potential members and new DXers.

The W7DX repeater equipment was removed from the
current site by Herb W7ZF and Kirk N7UK.
Other possible sites were discussed by the Board, and they will be
investigated, including the water tower at the Maple Leaf Reservoir and the
Open Door School on Cougar Mountain.

Special events status

Denny W7SNH informed the
Board that the Website for the 2012 DX Convention (August 3-5) was up and
running.  He emphasized the importance of
following the site’s instructions for registering for the event and for making
hotel reservations.

The Spokane DX Club has
confirmed that they will host the 2013 DX Convention.

Monthly dinner/meeting

Next month’s meeting will feature a program by
Bruce Prior N7RR and he will present his views on giving signal reports.

The Board discussed meeting attendance in
relation to the meeting location.  We
will continue to meet at the 125th Street Grill.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:18 PM

Respectfully submitted by Rob Gregory KD7H
