Meeting Minutes – March 26, 2024
- Meeting called to order at 7:03 PM by Rob N7QT. In attendance were Rob N7QT; Adam K7EDX; Dennis K7DSE; Tom NU7J; Jack N7JP; Rusty W6OAT; Justin K5EM; Robin WA7CPA; Marv K7IU
- Review/Approve Minutes: Approved Feb 27, 2024 board meeting minutes.
- Correspondence: Received funding request and approved $410 donation to FT4GL Glorioso dxpedition.
- Treasurer Report: Approved previous Treasurer report. The report provided by Dennis K7DSE as of
Mar 24, 2024 reported a total balance in treasury of $16,177.64. - Membership report: 159 active members. Two new members; AG7NR (Manfred) and W6OHM (Jeff).

- PNW DX Convention Planning:
- Board approved the convention price structure shown in the table at the bottom of these minutes.
- Convention Job Assignments:
- Create list of potential speakers, Obtain speakers and create convention program: Adam, Rusty, Justin, and others
- Sell Raffle Tickets:

- PNW DX Convention Planning:
- New Business
- Purchase of WWDXC banner: Adam to investigate cost of purchasing WWDXC banner for future dxpeditions by club members
- Salmon Run: Justin K5EM has shipped SR glasses. Marv K7IU is coordinating with TX and NH QSO Parties to investigate the possibility of standardizing QSO exchanges with WA Salmon Run.
- Membership Dues: The Board voted to increase the yearly dues from $25 to $30 per year, beginning with the January, 2025 renewals.
- W7OM Club Call Sign Assignment – Rod W7OM (SK) was one of the original founders of WWDXC. There is a desire to preserve the W7OM call sign as a club call. Adam to investigate process and take appropriate action.
- April 9 Club meeting: Presentation topic: Scott N7SS (Snoh County Emergency Mgmt) – Oso Landslide
