Our next Zoom Club meeting is Tuesday, February 11th. Happy hour starts around 6:00pm, the general meeting at 6:30pm, and the program no later than 7:00pm.
With some of the recent chatter about DXpeditions and planning, etc. This made me reminisce about the 2006 DXpedition to Peter Island. In my opinion, this expedition still stands as one of the top most daring, expensive, and successful DXpeditions of all time. Bob Allphin K4UEE (SK) was one of the best expedition planners and promoters in the history of ham radio. I haven’t watched this video in at least 10-15 years. There might be a hacked video out there, but to my knowledge you still have to purchase this video, which I did. I’ll be showing this video starting at 7:00pm.
Maybe the upcoming expeditions to Peter I or Bouvet will top it?
Look for Rob N7QT’s Zoom link tomorrow Monday 2/10 on the Groups.IO reflector.
