November 2024 – Board Minutes

Meeting Minutes for November, 2024 (Meeting held Dec 3, 2024)

1. Meeting called to order at 7:31 PM by Rob N7QT.  In attendance were Adam K7EDX; Jack N7JP; Rusty W6OAT; Dennis K7DSE; Tom NU7J; Robin WA7CPA; Rich W6RS; Justin K5EM; Rob N7QT
   
   
2.  Review/Approve Minutes: Approved Oct 29, 2024 board meeting minutes.
   
   
3. Correspondence:  No new correspondence reported.
   
   
4. Treasurer Report: Approved previous Treasurer report.    The report provided by Dennis K7DSE as of Dec 3, 2024 reported a total balance in treasury of $14,225.54. 
   
   
5. Membership report: 7new members since June.  4 re-joins as a result of convention.  163 active members.  6 inactivated from Dec, 2023 cycle.  Approved membership report.
   
   
6. Old Business
   
   
   1. Salmon Run update – Clean Sweep glasses have been received. Non-sweep glasses have been ordered.   An e-mail will be sent to the reflector to request donations to help pay for glasses. Thus far, $400 in donations have been received toward SR glasses.   Plaques should arrive on Thursday and will be awarded during the WWDXC Christmas party on Saturday, Dec 7.  SR Results will be published on website Saturday, Dec 7. 
      
      
   1. 2024 Christmas Party – Dec 7, Noon – 2 PM, at Lynnwood Spaghetti Factory.  Adam to send email to reflector this week.  There will be 3 meal choices.  Prizes will include ARRL books donated by KB7HDX from ARRL.  Board approved $500 in prizes.  (This will be partly offset by selling raffle tickets.) 
7. New Business
   1. Rich, W6RS resigned his Board position, 2 year prior to the end of the 3 year term.   Rob N7QT thanked Rich for 10 years of excellent service on the Board.  Club President Rob, N7QT has requested Dick, K7BTW to take over until the end of the term.
