April 2025 – Board Minutes

Draft Meeting Minutes – April 29, 2025

1. Meeting called to order at 7:18 PM by Rob N7QT.  In attendance were Adam K7EDX; Jack N7JP; Dennis K7DSE; Tom NU7J; Robin WA7CPA; Dick K7BTW; Rob N7QT; Justin K5EM
   
   
2.  Review/Approve Minutes: Approved March 25, 2025 board meeting minutes.
   
   
3. Correspondence:   ZS8W dxpedition funding request (approved $400), and 3Y0K funding request (approved $100).  Also received two membership renewals.
   
   
4. Treasurer Report: Approved previous Treasurer report.    The report provided by Dennis K7DSE as of April 29, 2025 reported a total balance in treasury of $13,924.06. 
   
   
5. Membership report: 171 active members. 
   
   
6. Old Business
   1. Salmon Run update – Discussed separating Expedition County Line into new category to encourage more Expeditions to rare counties.  County abbreviations may be revised (standardized) for 2026 SR. 
   1. SEAPAC/PNWDX Convention – Discussions are underway with DX clubs and SEAPAC to integrate future PNWDX Convention with SEAPAC (beginning no sooner than 2026). 
   1. WWDXC Lunches – A plan is being formed to encourage informal lunches at various locations including Kitsap Peninsula and other areas in Puget Sound area.  The purpose is to have more face to face gatherings and build personal relationships within the club.
   1.  Summer Picnic – Saturday,July 26 at Brightwater (Woodinville). Catering will be from Dicky’s BBQ.  Plans are ongoing.
