March 2025 – Board Minutes

Meeting Minutes – March 25, 2025

1. Meeting called to order at 7:18 PM by Rob N7QT.  In attendance were Adam K7EDX; Jack N7JP; Dennis K7DSE; Tom NU7J; Robin WA7CPA; Dick K7BTW; Rob N7QT; Justin K5EM
   
   
2.  Review/Approve Minutes: Approved Feb 25, 2025 board meeting minutes.
   
   
3. Correspondence:   None
   
   
4. Treasurer Report: Approved previous Treasurer report.    The report provided by Dennis K7DSE as of Feb 25, 2025 reported a total balance in treasury of $13,814.07. 
   
   
5. Membership report: 172 active members.  Two new members were added in March: George KY7O, and Mike KA7CSE. 
   
   
6. Old Business
   1. Salmon Run update – “Non-sweeps” 2024 SR glasses have been mailed. No further action needed for 2024 SR.    Discussed idea for real time SR scoring in future Salmon Runs.  (“Hamscore.com”)
   1. SEAPAC/PNWDX Convention – Discussions are underway with DX clubs and SEAPAC to integrate future PNWDX Convention with SEAPAC (beginning no sooner than 2026). 
   1. ET3AA Totem Award has been issued. Photo and brief story to be posted on WWDXC website.  (Still in work by Tom, NU7J).
   1. WWDXC Lunches – A plan is being formed to encourage informal lunches at various locations including Kitsap Peninsula and other areas in Puget Sound area.  The purpose is to have more face to face gatherings and build personal relationships within the club. 
7. New Business
   1. Summer Picnic – Saturday,July 26 at Brightwater (Woodinville). Catering will be from Dicky’s BBQ.  Plans are ongoing. 
   1. Next Club Meeting Presentation (April 8): Adrian KO8SCA, topic TBD
