Meeting Minutes – Aug 26, 2025
- Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM by Rob N7QT. In attendance were Jack N7JP; Dennis K7DSE; Tom NU7J; Robin WA7CPA; Dick K7BTW; Rob N7QT; Marv K7IU; Rusty W6OAT
- Review/Approve Minutes: Approved June 24, 2025 board meeting minutes.
- Correspondence: Received request to support Annobon Dxpedition, 3C0W. Board voted to provide $200.
- Treasurer Report: Approved previous Treasurer report. The report provided by Dennis K7DSE as of Aug 26, 2025 reported a total balance in treasury of $14,489.06.
- Membership report: 175 active members, including a few new members since previous report.
- Old Business
- Salmon Run – Starting in 2025 SR, we will be awarding two plaques for Expedition category: One plaque for single county high score, and one for multi county high score. Note that both single and multi-county expedition stations will be in the same category (Expedition). Justin will send message to groups.io to promote salmon run and will include this update. WWDXC website will be updated to list the 2025 Salmon Run plaques to be awarded.
- PNWDX Convention – After a lot of discussion within and between clubs, it is apparent that the PNWDX convention will not be held in the future. The primary reason is that it’s not financially possible due to rising costs.

- Donation to WWDXC: The family of Silent Key W7JXR has donated a significant amount ofolder, used equipment to the club. Currently in possession of Adam, K7EDX. The equipment will be inventoried, advertised and sold off in the coming months. i.e. Kenwood TS2000, TS430S, Collins 75A4 Rcvr, Alpha 76A amp, lots of smaller accessories, etc. Aug 26 Update: A small committee will be formed to document the donated equipment and begin selling equipment. Marv K7IU to contact Adam K7EDX to begin coordinating this.
